Corrected version:
Space is a huge place with stars and planets scattered like sprinkles. In our Solar System, the Sun sits in the middle, and eight planets — Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune — go around it.
Why I changed a few things (short and simple):
- Capital letters: We write Sun and Solar System with big letters because they are the names of our star and our system.
- Number word: I wrote eight as a word instead of the number 8 because short numbers are usually written with words in sentences.
- Clearer verb: I changed "circle it in orbits" to "go around it" because it's simpler to understand for a 7-year-old. Both mean the same thing.
- Comma: I added a comma before "and" because there are two full ideas joined in the second sentence (the Sun sits in the middle, and the planets go around it).
