Venus is super hot because it has a very thick blanket of gas around it. That blanket keeps the Sun's heat from getting away, just like a blanket keeps you warm.
Venus also has lots of volcanoes that make extra heat. So, the thick gas blanket plus the volcanoes trap a lot of heat, which makes Venus the hottest planet.
