Corrected paragraph:
Space is huge and full of stars and planets. In our Solar System, the Sun is at the center, and eight planets — Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune — orbit the Sun.
Why I changed it:
- I wrote the number 8 as the word eight because words for small numbers are easier to read in a sentence.
- I used at the center instead of in the middle. Both are correct, but at the center is a tiny bit clearer here.
- I added a comma before and Neptune to make the list of planets easier to read.
- I used the word orbit instead of go around because orbit is the science word that means go around.
Short version you can use:
Space is huge and full of stars and planets. The Sun is at the center of our Solar System, and eight planets orbit the Sun.
