Playful Version 1

Up in the soggy, leafy tops of the Amazon, noisy parrots flash bright feathers like flying paint splashes. Down in the slow rivers, sneaky crocodiles and chompy piranhas hide and wait. In the Asian jungle, a proud peacock opens its sparkly fan, a scaly pangolin curls up like a tiny armoured ball, and a stripy tiger prowls like a fuzzy king.

Playful Version 2

The Amazon's wet treetops are bustling with colourful parrots, squawking and zooming about like happy confetti. Below, crocodiles grin from the water and piranhas dart about with little chomps. Over in the Asian jungle, a peacock spreads a glittery tail, a pangolin rolls into a cozy ball, and a tiger with bold stripes tiptoes through the leaves.

How I made them playful (quick steps)

  1. I kept the same animals and places so the meaning stayed the same.
  2. I chose fun words (like "chompy", "paint splashes", "glittery") that a 7-year-old will enjoy.
  3. I added little actions and sounds to make the scene feel alive and silly.
