Hola — I can create a short, playful lesson for your 5-year-old. Which topic would you like me to teach? (You can reply in Spanish or English.)

Choose one of these topics or tell me another:

  • Colors (colores)
  • Numbers / counting (números)
  • Alphabet / letters (abecedario, letras)
  • Animals (animales)
  • Shapes (formas)
  • Days / weather / seasons (días/clima/estaciones)
  • Hygiene / safety (higiene / seguridad)
  • Something else — tell me what your child likes!

Quick questions before I make the lesson:

  • Preferred language: Spanish (español) or English?
  • How long should the lesson be? (10, 15, or 20 minutes works well for 5-year-olds)
  • What materials do you have at home? (paper, crayons, small toys, snacks, balls)

Sample mini-lesson templates (I will expand the one you pick):

Template — 15 minutes total

  • 1) Warm-up (2 min): Sing a short song or play a quick game to get attention.
  • 2) Teach (4–5 min): Show 1–3 new ideas with bright pictures or real objects.
  • 3) Practice (5–6 min): Hands-on activity: coloring, sorting, counting toys, or a short movement game.
  • 4) Review + Praise (2 min): Quick question game and lots of encouragement.
  • 5) Closing (1 min): Sing a goodbye song or give a sticker / high-five.

Example: Colors (10 minutes)

  • Warm-up: Sing a short color song (use colors in Spanish/English).
  • Teach: Show 4 colored objects (red, blue, yellow, green) and say their names slowly.
  • Practice: Ask the child to find something in the room with each color or color a simple picture.
  • Review: Ask, "¿De qué color es esto? / What color is this?" Give praise for each answer.
  • Closing: Clap and say, "¡Muy bien! / Great job!"

If you tell me which topic, the language, and how long you want, I will create a clear, step-by-step lesson with exact words, songs, and a printable activity you can use right away.

¿Qué tema quieres? / Which topic would you like?
