At fourteen, you will practice relentlessly. Follow Piano Adventures' ACE: strengthen aural skills, master concepts, and shape expression. Daily: 45–60 minutes broken into technique, scales/chords, repertoire, and sight-reading. Weeks 1–8: Scale & Chord Book 1 — hands separately, 4 major scales, triads; Weeks 9–20: Book 2 — harmonic minor, four-part patterns, inversions; Months 6–12: Book 3 — three-octave scales, seventh chords, modulation. Record metronome goals, increase tempo 2–4 bpm weekly. Weekly teacher check: critique, correct, assign repertoire. No excuses. Precision, tone, and musical phrasing are nonnegotiable. Practice slowly first, then perfect fast, every day, with ruthless honesty. No skipping allowed.
