Correct sentences:
The biggest land animal is the elephant.
The elephant uses its trunk like a hand.
Why these are correct (easy steps):
- Start each sentence with a capital letter and end it with a period.
- Do not write the whole word in CAPITALS. Write elephant normally.
- Saying "is the elephant" tells what the biggest land animal is.
- Use its (no apostrophe) when something belongs to the elephant, for example its trunk.
- You do not need a comma between "animal" and "elephant" in this sentence.
Try it: Write your own sentence about an animal. Example: The giraffe has a long neck.
