Five playful rephrasings

  1. Count to ten with your teacher — one, two... ten! Then peek at friends' photos and guess if they look happy, sad, or surprised.
  2. Hold your teacher's hand and hop to ten, then be a feelings detective: look at each friend’s photo and say what they might be feeling.
  3. Sing the numbers to ten with your teacher, then play "Face Spotting" and name the feeling on each friend’s picture.
  4. Let’s zoom to 10 with the teacher — 1...2...3...10 — then look at friends’ photos and make the same faces to show how they feel.
  5. Count up to ten together with your teacher, then point at each friend’s photo and say, "I think they feel..." and finish with a feeling word.

How to use these (easy steps)

  1. Count slowly with your teacher and say the numbers out loud.
  2. Look at one friend’s photo at a time and name the feeling you see (happy, sad, surprised, angry, tired).
  3. Say why you think they feel that way and try making the same face — it helps you learn feelings!

Have fun counting and finding feelings!
