An excavator is a big machine that helps us dig in the ground. It has a big bucket on the front that looks like a huge scoop. Imagine you have a big scoop for your sand at the beach! When we want to build things like houses or roads, we need to dig holes first. That’s where the excavator comes in!
It goes vroom vroom and moves to the right spot. Then, its big bucket goes down into the ground to scoop up dirt and rocks. After it lifts the dirt out, it can drop it somewhere else, like in a pile or back into the hole when it’s ready.
This machine is also used to help put pipes in the ground. These pipes carry water and gas to our homes, so we have water to drink and gas to cook food. Isn’t that helpful? So, the excavator is super important for building things and making our homes better!
