Seven ways to say "in the poultry yard"

Here are 7 simple sentences you can use. Each one means the same idea but sounds a little different.

  • In the chicken yard — Example: "I found an egg in the chicken yard."
  • Inside the hen yard — Example: "The hens are inside the hen yard."
  • At the poultry farm — Example: "We went to visit the animals at the poultry farm."
  • Near the henhouse — Example: "The chicks were playing near the henhouse."
  • By the chicken coop — Example: "Mom called me by the chicken coop."
  • Among the chickens — Example: "I walked among the chickens carefully."
  • Out in the yard with the birds — Example: "We had a picnic out in the yard with the birds."

Quick steps to practice:

  1. Pick one sentence you like.
  2. Say it out loud while pretending you're at the farm.
  3. Try swapping the sentence into a story: instead of "I saw a duck," say "I saw a duck in the chicken yard" using one of the new phrases.

Have fun trying them and see which one sounds best to you!
