Hi! I think the thing you walk on is called a block. The thing you dig up can be dirt, sand, or ore (like coal or iron) — or, if you mean treasure, it could be a buried chest.😊

You said "trael ruins" — I bet you mean a ruined portal (a broken Nether portal). Here’s how to fix it in Minecraft Bedrock, step by step, in a simple way.

  1. What a ruined portal looks like:
    • It has some obsidian blocks already, but some are missing.
    • Sometimes it has crying obsidian (purple shiny blocks) or fire and gold nearby.
  2. What you need:
    • Obsidian blocks (to replace the missing ones)
    • A diamond or netherite pickaxe to mine obsidian (if you don’t already have it)
    • Flint and steel (to light the portal)
    • Buckets of water and a bucket to collect lava (if you want to make obsidian yourself)
  3. How to get obsidian (easy way):
    1. Find some lava (in caves or on the surface at night).
    2. Pour water over a lava source block to turn it into obsidian.
    3. Mine the obsidian with a diamond or netherite pickaxe and pick it up.
  4. How to rebuild the portal:
    1. Look at the ruined portal and count where obsidian is missing.
    2. Place obsidian blocks so the frame becomes a rectangle: the smallest working portal frame is 4 blocks wide and 5 blocks tall on the outside (you can also build a simpler 2x3 inside space with 10 obsidian if you skip corners, but for ruined portals you usually just fill the missing pieces).
    3. Make sure the inside of the frame is empty (no blocks inside the portal space).
  5. Light the portal:
    • Use flint and steel and click the inside of the portal frame — it should turn purple and open to the Nether.
    • If it doesn’t light, check that every block in the frame is obsidian (crying obsidian won’t form a portal).
  6. Extra tips & safety:
    • If you see crying obsidian (it looks like obsidian with purple dripping), replace those with normal obsidian blocks — crying obsidian cannot be used to make an active portal.
    • Don’t stand too close when the portal opens if there’s fire or lava nearby — step back so you don’t fall into lava.
    • If you need obsidian fast, make it by pouring water on lava sources and mine it with a diamond pickaxe.

If you didn’t mean a ruined portal, that’s okay — tell me what it looks like (is it buried in sand, under the ocean, or does it have a map?), or try to spell it the best you can and I’ll help fix that instead. Want me to show pictures or a very short video link next?
