Okay, little buddy! Do you know that our Earth is a planet? And Earth has one moon, which is the big round thing we see at night! Now, let’s find out about other planets and their moons!
- Mercury: This planet is very close to the sun and has no moons at all!
- Venus: Venus is another planet that doesn’t have any moons.
- Earth: Yay! Earth has 1 moon that shines brightly in the night sky!
- Mars: Mars has 2 tiny moons named Phobos and Deimos. They are like little friends of Mars!
- Jupiter: Jupiter is a giant planet and has lots of moons—at least 79! That’s a lot of friends!
- Saturn: Saturn is famous for its pretty rings, and it has about 83 moons!
- Uranus: This chilly planet has 27 moons!
- Neptune: Neptune, the farthest planet, also has 14 moons!
So, many planets have moons! But Earth needs its moon to look pretty in the night sky! Isn’t that cool?
