Ally (age 13) is a highly engaged homeschooled student who, over the past 12 months, has worked beyond Year 8 expectations—completing Beast Academy Level 5 with ongoing AoPS and geometry work; producing rigorous comparative literary and historiographical analyses (Martin Guerre, The Mabinogion, Tale of Genji); completing practical chemistry investigations and a 1,400‑word formal science report linked to environmental themes; achieving violin Book 1 and sustained piano study; and creating strong visual and drama projects—overall meeting or exceeding Year 8/early Year 9 standards across English, mathematics, science, humanities, the arts and practical technologies.
