An accordion is a special musical instrument! It has round buttons just like you see on some games, and it has keys that look like the ones on a piano, which you might know from music class.
In the middle of the accordion, there are bellows. Imagine a big, soft bag that can be pulled apart like a stretchy toy and then pushed back together like squishing a pillow. When you pull the bellows apart or push them together, it makes the sound come out of the accordion!
So, when someone plays the accordion, they press the buttons and keys while squeezing the bellows! That’s how they make lovely music! 🎵
