What you will make

A short, colorful brochure that tells the same story as your talk, but in writing people can read easily.

Step 1: Pick the main ideas

Think about your presentation. What are the 3–5 most important points? Write them as short headings (titles).

Step 2: Write simple sentences

For each idea, write 1–2 simple sentences. Use easy words. If a word is tricky, try to explain it in a tiny note.

Step 3: Add pictures and colors

Choose drawings or photos that match each idea. Use bright colors to grab attention, but not too many—2–3 colors is good.

Step 4: Use a friendly layout

  • Front cover: a title, your name, and a fun image.
  • Inside left: idea 1 with a short sentence and picture.
  • Inside middle: idea 2 with a short sentence and picture.
  • Inside right: idea 3 with a short sentence and picture.
  • Back cover: a small thank-you note and a contact line (teacher’s name).

Step 5: Add a simple title and subtitle

Title example: "Our Amazing Animal Habitat". Subtitle: "A quick guide from [Your Name]".

Step 6: Review and practice

  • Check that each page is easy to read from a short distance.
  • Ask a friend or family member to read it aloud and point out confusing parts.
  • Make any tiny changes to improve clarity.

Step 7: Print or share

Print on sturdy paper or save as a PDF to share with classmates. You can also display it on a classroom wall or digital board.
