Why Do People Look Different?

People come in all shapes, colors, and sizes. Some differences come from our skin color, hair type, eye shape, height, and more. These differences make each person unique, just like a fingerprint.

Where Do These Differences Come From?

  1. Genes: Tiny instructions inside our bodies decide things like hair color, eye color, and height. We get half of our genes from our mom and half from our dad.
  2. Environment: Things around us, like where we grow up and what we eat, can influence how we look and grow.
  3. Mixing: When families have children, the genes blend in lots of different ways, so siblings can look different too.

Why Is Diversity Nice?

Different looks make the world colorful. People who look different can have lots of different cultures, foods, languages, and stories. That variety helps us learn from each other and makes life exciting.

What Can We Do?

  • Be kind to everyone, no matter how they look.
  • Ask questions and listen when others share their experiences.
