Okay! So, imagine you have two kinds of guitars. One is called an electric guitar, and the other is called an acoustic guitar. They might look a bit similar, but they make sounds in different ways.

An acoustic guitar is like a box that makes music all by itself. When you strum the strings, the sound comes out of the big hollow part of the guitar and you can hear it, but it’s not super loud.

Now, an electric guitar is a little different. It has special parts inside it that can catch the sound of the strings, but it needs help to get really loud. This is where amplifiers come in! Think of an amplifier like a magic box that takes the sound and makes it much louder so everyone can hear it, even if there are a lot of people!

So, when someone plays an electric guitar and uses an amplifier, it can fill a whole room with sound! That’s why electric guitars can be a lot louder than regular guitars. Isn’t that cool?
