What is a Guitar?
A guitar is a musical instrument that has six strings. These strings are what makes the lovely sounds when we play the guitar.
How Does It Work?
1. Two Hands: A musician uses both hands to play the guitar. One hand is for picking the strings, and the other is for pressing down on them.
2. Picking the Strings: With one hand, they pluck or strum the strings. This makes the strings vibrate and create music!
3. Pressing the Strings: With the other hand, they press down on the strings along a long part called the neck of the guitar. This changes the sound of the string and makes different notes.
Why is it Fun?
Using a guitar is fun because it lets the musician make all kinds of pretty sounds and songs!
