Summer is a special time of year when the sun shines bright, and the weather gets warm. This is when many fun things happen!
First, we can go outside and look for beautiful butterflies. Butterflies are colorful insects that fly around in gardens and parks. To catch them, we can use a net, which is like a special tool made of soft fabric on a stick. We gently swing the net to try to catch the butterflies, but we have to be careful and not hurt them because they are gentle creatures.
Next, summer is also the perfect time to play in the sand! When we go to the beach or to a sandbox, we can collect sand to make amazing shapes. One of the most fun things to make is a sandcastle!
