The Little Squirrel's Dream
Once upon a time, there was a little squirrel who had a big dream! This little squirrel wanted to be a ship captain. That means it wanted to steer a big ship across the ocean and go on exciting adventures!!
But right now, the squirrel was too small to actually be a ship captain. So, what do you think it did? It decided to have fun in its own special way. The little squirrel started sailing paper boats!
Can you imagine a little squirrel making small boats out of paper? It found colorful paper, carefully folded it, and made wonderful little boats. When the rain came and small puddles formed, the squirrel would put its paper boats in the water and watch them float away.
Even though they were just paper boats, the little squirrel used its imagination. It pretended each boat was a big ship going on a grand adventure, just like it dreamed. The squirrel would cheer for the boats, shouting, “Ahoy, matey!” as they sailed!
This is a story about dreaming big and having fun while you wait for your dreams to come true. And remember, every great captain starts as a little squirrel sailing paper boats.
