What Happens in the Control Tower?

Okay, little buddy! Imagine a control tower as a big, tall building at the airport, like a castle for airplanes! In this special place, there are very smart people called air traffic controllers. They have a really important job to keep all the airplanes safe and happy.

First, when an airplane wants to take off, the control tower tells it, 'You can fly now! Go zoom into the sky!' They help the airplanes know the right time to go.

Then, when the airplanes are coming back to land, the control tower tells them where to land safely. They use special equipment to see all the planes and make sure they don’t bump into each other.

The people in the control tower also talk to the pilots through radios. They give them instructions and share useful information, like if there are clouds in the sky or if there’s a lot of wind.

So, the control tower is like the boss of the airplanes, making sure everything goes smoothly and safely for all the flights! Isn’t that cool?
