Excavators Are Like Giant Robots!
Imagine you have a big robot friend that can help you dig and move things around. That’s what an excavator is!
What Does an Excavator Do?
1. Digging Holes: Just like you might use a shovel to dig in the sand, an excavator uses its big iron arm, almost like a strong hand, to dig deep holes in the ground.
2. Moving Ground: Once it digs up dirt, the excavator can lift it up and move it somewhere else, like when you pick up your toys and put them in a box.
3. Building Roads: When people want to make new roads for cars, excavators help clear the ground and get everything ready, just like how you clear your space to build a big LEGO tower!
4. Demolishing Buildings: If an old building needs to come down, an excavator can use its powerful arm to knock it down, like when you gently knock over a tower of blocks.
Why Is It So Cool?
Excavators are super helpful because they can do things that are too hard for people to do by themselves. They are strong, fast, and can work in places where it would be tough for us to go!
Imagine the Excitement!
If you see an excavator working, you can think of it as a giant robot helping build the world around us. Isn’t that amazing?
