Hey Daniella and Alisia!
Today, we're going to learn about the amazing organs in our bodies and what each of them does! Just like how a car has different parts that work together to get you places, our bodies have organs that work together to keep us healthy and strong.
1. Heart
The heart is like a pump. It sends blood all around your body, which carries oxygen and nutrients to keep you alive and full of energy!
2. Lungs
Your lungs are super important for breathing. They take in the air you breathe and get rid of carbon dioxide, which is what your body doesn't need.
3. Stomach
The stomach is where your food goes after you eat. It helps break down the food into smaller pieces so your body can use it for energy.
4. Liver
The liver is kind of like a filter. It cleans your blood and helps to break down fats and proteins from the food you eat.
5. Kidneys
You have two kidneys that work to keep your blood clean by removing waste and extra water to make urine.
6. Brain
The brain is the control center of your body. It helps you think, learn, and feel, and it tells all the other organs what to do!
7. Skin
Skin is actually the biggest organ! It protects your body from germs, helps you feel things, and keeps your insides safe.
That's a quick tour of some of the key organs!
Each organ has a special job, and they all work together to help you live your daily life—playing, learning, and having fun! If you have any questions about anything, just ask!
