There are many places in the world where animals live, and these places are called habitats. Let's look at some of them!
1. Forest
In the forest, it’s very green with lots of trees. Animals like deer and owls live there. The deer eat grass and leaves, and the owls come out at night!
2. Desert
Now, let’s think about the desert! It’s hot and dry. Here lives the camel, who can go for a long time without drinking water!
3. Ice and Snow
In places that are super cold, like the Arctic, we find animals like the penguin and the polar bear. Penguins slide on their bellies in the snow!
4. Jungle
The jungle is a very colorful place with a lot of plants. Here, you can see a bright toucan flying around!
5. Lake
At the lake, we can find lizards basking in the sun and little fish swimming. It’s a fun place to play!
6. Mountains
In the mountains, the air is high up! Animals like the mountain goat climb up the steep rocks.
7. Ocean
The ocean is big and full of water. There live amazing animals like the shark and the lionfish!
8. Rain Forest
Lastly, in the rain forest, it rains a lot. There are many colorful birds and animals like the monkey swinging from trees.
