Explore the exciting life cycle of an apple tree, simplified for young children to understand.
Let’s learn about how an apple tree grows! An apple tree has a special journey called a life cycle. This journey is made up of different steps. Let’s look at these steps one by one!
Every apple tree starts as a tiny seed. Imagine a little brown speck! If we plant this seed in the soil and give it water and sunshine, it can start to grow.
The seed will crack open and begin to grow a sprout. A sprout is a tiny green shoot that reaches for the light. It’s like a baby plant coming out to say hello!
As the sprout grows taller, it becomes a young apple tree. This tree will have leaves and branches. It needs lots of sunlight and water to keep growing strong.
After some time, the young tree becomes a big adult apple tree! It has many branches and leaves, and soon, it will bloom pretty flowers.
These beautiful flowers will turn into apples after they have finished blooming. They can be white or pink and need bees to help them grow!
Once the flowers turn into apples, they will grow and get bigger. When they are ripe, they turn red, yellow, or green. Yum!
When we eat apples, we can find seeds inside. If we plant those seeds, they can start the whole life cycle again!
And that is how an apple tree grows! From a little seed to an adult tree, the life cycle keeps going round and round. Isn’t that amazing?
