Where Do Penguins Live?

Penguins mostly live in cold places, like Antarctica. That's a really chilly place, and that's where many penguins call home.

What Do Penguins Look Like?

Penguins are known for their black and white feathers. They look like they are wearing a little tuxedo! Baby penguins are fluffy and gray and look like little balls of fuzz!

How Do Penguins Move?

Even though penguins can't fly like other birds, they are great swimmers! They use their wings like flippers to help them swim fast in the water.

What Do Penguins Eat?

Penguins love to eat fish and krill (tiny sea creatures). They dive underwater to catch their food.

Fun Penguin Behavior

Penguins are very social! They like to live in groups called colonies. They can be quite noisy, too—they quack and make all sorts of sounds to talk to each other!
