Once upon a time, there was a big, fluffy bear. As winter came, the bear felt very sleepy. It knew it was time to go find a warm place to rest. Can you guess where it went?
The bear walked through the snow, feeling the cold air on its fur. It found a nice and warm den - a little cave just for it! The bear loved this den because it was cozy and safe.
Once inside, the bear snuggled up in a soft pile of leaves and moss. It closed its eyes and took a deep breath. 'Ahhhh,' the bear sighed happily. 'This is the perfect spot for a nap.'
As the bear lay sleeping, the snow fell outside, and the wind blew cold. But inside the den, it was warm and quiet.
The bear dreamed of the sunny days in spring when flowers bloomed, and the trees turned green. It knew that when winter was over, it could wake up and play again!
So, the bear slept and slept until spring arrived. When the sun shone bright and warm again, the bear stretched its arms and yawned. 'Time to wake up!' it said happily.
And that's how the bear spent the winter - snuggled up in its den, having the sweetest dreams until it was time to play outside again!
