A simple explanation of the four seasons: winter, spring, summer, and autumn, tailored for young children.
Hi there! Today we are going to talk about the four seasons of the year. There are four parts in a year: winter, spring, summer, and autumn.
Winter is the coldest season. It usually snows, and you can wear warm clothes like jackets and hats. Trees can look bare, and some animals sleep during this time.
Spring comes right after winter. It's when flowers start to bloom, and everything gets colorful again! The weather becomes warmer, and baby animals are often born.
Summer is hot! It’s time for swimming, playing outside, and enjoying the sunshine. We usually wear light clothes, like t-shirts and shorts, and eat ice cream to cool off.
Autumn, or fall, comes after summer. The leaves on trees change color and fall to the ground. It gets a little cooler, and we can see pumpkins for Halloween!
All these seasons help nature grow and change. Isn’t it fun to watch the world change with the seasons?
