The Yak Next to a Snowdrift

Imagine you are outside in a snowy wonderland. The ground is covered in thick, fluffy snow called a snowdrift. Now, picture a big, furry animal called a yak standing right next to it.

The yak is very special! It has long, soft fur that looks like a big, fluffy skirt. This fur keeps it warm in the cold. If you were to look under the skirt of fur, you would see its strong legs, but the fur is so thick that it covers them up and makes them hard to see.

Now, let’s talk about its breath! When the yak breathes out in the cold air, you can see its breath coming out like a little cloud. This happens because the warm air from its lungs meets the cold air outside, creating tiny water droplets that look like a misty cloud. It’s almost like the yak is puffing out a little cloud whenever it exhales!

So, when you see a yak next to a snowdrift, remember its fluffy fur and the way its breath makes little clouds in the chilly air. It is an incredible sight!
