When we talk about autumn, we are talking about a special time of year when the leaves on trees change color and fall down. But did you know that during autumn, it can also rain a lot and the sky can be very cloudy?
In autumn, the weather changes. Sometimes, warm air from the sun meets cool air. When they mix, they can make clouds and, when there are a lot of clouds, they can get heavy and drop rain. You may see little drops on the window or feel it on your face when you go outside!
When the sky is cloudy, it means that there are many clouds up high, covering the blue sky. It can feel darker and cooler. But don't worry! Sometimes, after the rain, the clouds go away, and we can see the sun again! And sometimes, we can even see a rainbow!
If it is rainy and cloudy when you want to go outside, you can wear a raincoat and use an umbrella to stay dry. Jumping in puddles is a fun activity too! Just remember, it's always nice to enjoy the beautiful colors of autumn, even if it is a little wet!
