What is Ancient Greece?
Ancient Greece was a really long time ago, about 2,500 years back! It was a place where lots of people lived, made amazing things, and told wonderful stories.

There were many people in Ancient Greece called Greeks. They had different city-states, like Athens and Sparta, where they lived and worked.
What Did They Love?
Greeks loved stories! They told tales about heroes like Hercules, who was very strong and did many brave things. They also believed in gods like Zeus, who was the king of the gods.
What Did They Build?
They built beautiful temples and big buildings. One famous place is the Parthenon, a temple for the goddess Athena. It had tall columns that made it look very grand!
What Did They Create?
Greeks invented many things! They created plays, which are stories acted out by people. They also loved to paint and make cool sculptures of their gods and heroes.
Why Is It Important?
Today, we still learn from Ancient Greece. They helped us understand art, science, and even politics! Their stories and ideas are still with us today.
