How to Make Zig-Zag Folded Cards

Step 1: Prepare Your Paper

Start with a piece of paper. It can be any size you like, but a standard sheet of paper (like A4 or letter size) is a good choice. If you want your card to be more colorful, you can use patterned paper.

Step 2: Fold the Paper

1. Lay the paper flat on a table. 2. Fold the paper in half lengthwise (the long way) and crease the fold well. Then, open it back up. 3. Next, take the bottom edge of the paper and fold it up to meet that center crease you made earlier. Make a crisp fold. 4. Now, take the top edge of the paper and fold it down to meet the center crease as well. Crease this fold too.

Step 3: Create the Zig-Zag Effect

1. Now you'll see two folds on your paper that split it into three sections. 2. You need to take the first section (the top part) and fold it backward, so the fold faces outside. 3. Then, take the second section (the middle part) and fold it forward, so that the fold faces inside. 4. Finally, take the last section (the bottom part) and fold it backward again. You should now have a zig-zag effect with three pages!

Step 4: Decorate Your Card
