The Earth is Round!

Hey there, little explorer! Have you ever looked at a big orange or a ball? They are round, right? Just like those, our Earth is also round! Let me tell you why!

1. The Way We See It

When we look up at the sky, we see a big round circle! And when we look at the horizon, things seem to curve down and around. This shows us that the Earth is not flat like a pancake, but round like a ball!

If we could float up high in a spaceship and look down at Earth, we would see it as a big, beautiful blue and green ball. There are pictures from astronauts who went to space, and they took amazing photos showing how round our Earth is!

When we roll a ball, it goes in all directions because it’s round. If the Earth were flat, things would behave differently. Imagine your toys rolling off the edge of a flat surface! But since Earth is round, we can stay on it without falling off!
