Learning to Count with Balloons

Hi there! Today, we're going to have fun with counting using balloons. Counting is super important because it helps us understand how many things we have. Let's get started!

Step 1: Counting the Balloons

Imagine you have a string, and on that string, you have balloons. Let’s say we have three balloons: one red, one blue, and one green. We’re going to count them together!

• One - This is the red balloon!
• Two - This is the blue balloon!
• Three - This is the green balloon!

Step 2: Learning Colors with Counting

As we count the balloons, we also learn their colors. You can have fun by looking around and finding other colored balloons. What colors do you see?

Step 3: Practicing Together

Now that we’ve counted the balloons, let’s practice counting together! You can repeat after me:

1. One!
2. Two!
3. Three!

Step 4: Adding More Balloons

What if we added more balloons? Let’s say we add two more balloons! Now we have:

• One red balloon
• One blue balloon
• One green balloon
• One yellow balloon
• One purple balloon

Can you count how many balloons there are now? That’s right! There are five balloons. You did it!

Step 5: Have Fun with Balloons!

You can play this counting game with real balloons or drawings at home. Ask your friends and family to join. The more, the merrier!
