Once upon a time, there is a thirsty crow. The crow flies over a village on a hot summer day. He feels very thirsty. He searches for water everywhere but finds none.
Finally, he spots a pitcher in a garden. He feels hopeful and flies down to the pitcher. He looks inside the pitcher and sees a little water at the bottom. The water is too low for him to reach with his beak.
The crow thinks hard. He does not want to give up. He notices some pebbles scattered around the garden. He gets an idea. He picks up a pebble with his beak and drops it into the pitcher. The water level rises.
He continues to drop more pebbles into the pitcher. Each pebble makes the water rise higher. Finally, after dropping enough pebbles, the water rises to the top.
The crow is very happy. He drinks the cool, refreshing water. After quenches his thirst, he feels satisfied and flies away, grateful for his cleverness.
This story teaches us that intelligence and resourcefulness can help solve problems, even when things seem difficult.
