Once upon a time, a thirsty crow flies over a village. The sun shines brightly, and the crow feels very hot. The crow looks for water everywhere but cannot find any.
Finally, the crow sees a pitcher in a garden. The crow quickly flies down to the pitcher. The pitcher stands tall and has some water at the bottom. The crow leans down, but its beak cannot reach the water.
The crow thinks hard. It looks around and sees some pebbles on the ground. The crow gets an idea. It picks up a pebble with its beak and drops it into the pitcher. The water level rises a little.
The crow feels excited and drops more pebbles into the pitcher. With each pebble, the water climbs higher. Finally, the water reaches the top. The crow drinks the water happily. It feels cool and refreshed.
After quenching its thirst, the crow flies away into the blue sky, feeling proud of its cleverness.
