Hi there! Let's talk about Ann and how she feels when she sees a spider.

Sometimes, when we see something scary, like a spider, we can feel really afraid. This is what we call 'fear.' Fear is like a little alarm in our hearts that tells us something might not be safe.

When Ann sees the spider coming down from the branch, she might feel her heart beating fast and her tummy feeling funny. This is a normal way our body reacts when we're scared. It's okay to feel that way!

But guess what? Not all spiders are scary! Some spiders are very tiny and helpful. They eat bugs we don’t want in our homes. If Ann can take a deep breath and look at the spider carefully, she might see that it’s not so scary after all!

One way to feel better is to ask a grown-up to help. They can show her that the spider is not a danger. Or Ann can talk about her fears, and that can help her feel brave!

So, next time Ann sees a spider, she can remember that it's okay to feel scared, but she can also be brave and learn more about it!
