What is Gravity?
Gravity is a special force that pulls things down towards the ground. It is what makes your toys fall when you drop them and what keeps you on the floor instead of floating away!
How Does Gravity Work?
Think about when you throw a ball in the air. What happens? The ball goes up for a moment, but then it comes back down. That’s gravity pulling it down!
Why is Gravity Important?
Gravity helps us in many ways:
- It keeps us safe on the ground so we can walk and run.
- It makes sure we don’t float away into space.
- It helps us drink from a cup, because the water stays inside!
Fun Activity
Let’s have some fun to see gravity in action! You can try:
- Dropping different things like a ball, a feather, and a toy to see how fast they fall. (Make sure to do this in a safe place with a soft landing!)
- Tossing a toy in the air and watching it come back down. Try to catch it!
Remember, gravity is always there, helping us keep our feet on the ground and our toys where we can reach them!
