Red Pandas and Giant Pandas: Fun Facts!

What is a Red Panda?

What is a Giant Panda?

A giant panda is much bigger than a red panda! They are black and white and have round faces. Giant pandas also live in China, but they mostly stay in bamboo forests. Unlike red pandas, giant pandas are herbivores, which means they only eat plants, and their favorite food is bamboo! They spend a lot of time eating and can eat up to 26 to 84 pounds of bamboo every day!

How are They Similar?

Both red pandas and giant pandas love eating bamboo! They are also both very cute and belong to a group called carnivores, even though they mostly eat plants. Both types of pandas are found in China and are loved by many people around the world!
