What is Autumn?
Autumn is a special time of the year when the leaves on the trees change color. They turn bright colors like red, orange, and yellow! The weather starts to get a little cooler too. Sometimes it can be sunny, but often we see grey clouds filling the sky.
What are Grey Clouds?
Grey clouds are clouds that look puffy and heavy. When these clouds gather in the sky, it usually means rain is coming. Can you hear the sound of water? That's the rain falling from the clouds!
Why Does It Rain?
When the sky gets very full of water, the clouds can’t hold it anymore. So, the water drops down to the ground as rain. Rain is very important because it helps plants and trees grow healthy. It also makes puddles for us to jump in!
What to Do When It Rains?
When it rains, it’s fun to wear a raincoat and some rubber boots! You can splash in the puddles and enjoy the sounds of the raindrops. Remember, when the rain stops, you can look for rainbows in the sky!
