Rectangle Poem for Little Ones

In a land of shapes, oh what a sight,
There's a special shape, that’s big and bright!
It’s the rectangle, wide and grand,
Just like the screens where we watch and stand.

With four corners, so neat and clean,
It looks like a door, or a cushion for your scene.
Long and flat, it stretches wide,
Perfect for movies where we laugh and glide.

When you see a TV, what do you know?
It’s a rectangle, putting on a show!
With colors and sounds, it’s a magic screen,
Where stories unfold, like a wonderful dream!

So remember little one, as you play and cheer,
The rectangle’s shape is always near.
In things that we love, so big and so round,
The rectangle’s there, joy all around!
