Up, Up, Up!

There once was a balloon, round and bright,

It wanted to soar, oh what a sight!

With colors so sunny, a shimmer so fine,

This oval-shaped friend wanted to climb and shine.

Wishing to Fly

"I want to go high, up into the blue!"

It whispered to flowers and to the sky too.

"Will you help me? I want to float!"

"Let’s catch a breeze, and off we will gloat!"

Floating Away

The wind gave a giggle, it swirled all around,

With a whoosh and a whoop, the balloon left the ground.

Up, up, it went, with a jubilant cheer,

To play with the clouds, it had no fear!

A Dance in the Sky

Oh, how it danced with the sun and the moon,

Making friends with the stars, oh so soon!

"Twirl with me, shine bright, so playful and free,"

We can twinkle and giggle, just you wait and see!"

The Happy Return

But soon it got tired, as the day turned to night,

Down it descended, with a soft, gentle flight.

Landing back safely, on a soft patch of grass,

Our brave little balloon knew this was a blast!

Sweet Dreams
