The Bremen Town Musicians

Once upon a time, there was a man who owned a donkey. As the man grew old, he thought it was time to get rid of the donkey. So, the donkey decided to run away and go to a place called Bremen to become a street musician. Isn’t that brave?

On his journey to Bremen, the donkey met three other animals: a dog, a cat, and a rooster. Each of them was also trying to escape from their own problems. They all decided to stick together and continue on their adventure to Bremen.

One night, they arrived at a spooky house in the forest. They peeked through the window and saw some robbers sitting around a table, planning something sneaky. The friends wanted to scare the robbers away so they could stay in the nice house.

Here’s how they did it:

• The dog jumped on the donkey’s back.
• Then, the cat climbed up to sit on the dog.
• Finally, the rooster perched himself on top of the cat’s head!

Now, all four friends looked really funny piled up like that!

When they were ready to scare the robbers, they made a lot of noise. The donkey screamed, the dog barked, the cat meowed, and the rooster crowed. It sounded like something really scary was happening!

The robbers were so scared they thought they had seen ghosts, so they ran away into the night, leaving their treasure behind!

The four friends were very happy to be rid of the robbers. They liked the cozy house so much that they decided to stay there forever, fulfilling their dreams of being together in a safe and happy place.
