It's easy to accidentally knock things off your screen, especially if you're working on a digital device. Here’s a simple guide on how to retrieve your lost question and continue from where you left off:

  1. Check Your Browser History:
Most web browsers have a history feature that allows you to see the pages you've visited. To access this, you can:
    • Look for a button that looks like three horizontal lines or dots, usually at the top right corner of your browser.
    • Click on this button, and then select 'History' from the dropdown menu.
    • Scroll through the list of pages to see if the page you were on is listed. If you see it, click on it to return.
  2. Use the Back Button:
If you haven’t navigated away from the page completely, try using the back button, which looks like a left-facing arrow at the top of your browser. This may lead you back to the previous page you were typing on.
  3. Look for Autosave Features:
Many sites automatically save what you’re typing. Return to the page you were on to see if your question is still there in the text box. If it isn't, you might find a 'Recover Draft' option if the site has that feature.
  4. Check Your Device's Clipboard:
If you had highlighted your question before you accidentally knocked it out, it may still be saved in your clipboard. You can try pasting it back in the text box by clicking in the box and pressing Ctrl + V (or Cmd + V on a Mac).

If all else fails and you cannot retrieve the lost question, consider rewriting it based on what you remember. Don't hesitate to ask for help from someone nearby if you're feeling stuck!
