Star Patrol

Apps & Software Freemium Nationwide

A math, spelling, and trivia game for ages 5-11 where kids answer by fingerspelling in ASL - right answers blast asteroids.

Star Patrol is a math, spelling, and trivia game for ages 5-11 with a twist: kids enter answers by fingerspelling them in ASL. The device camera reads the handshape locally (nothing is uploaded or recorded), every right answer blasts an asteroid, and signed answers are drawn into constellation star maps. The game teaches every handshape from scratch, so no signing background is needed - families learn the ASL alphabet and numbers together while drilling math facts and spelling. A tap-only mode is included. Runs in any browser with nothing to install; free play requires no account and shows no ads. Made by Anthony Mowl, a dad from a signing family.
