Materials and Prep

  • Plain white paper or sketchbook
  • Pencils and erasers

No prior knowledge or experience is required for this lesson.

Activities

  1. Create a Minecraft self-portrait: Encourage the student to draw themselves as a Minecraft character. They can use their imagination to design their own unique character or base it on an existing Minecraft skin.
  2. Design a Minecraft landscape: Have the student draw a detailed scene inspired by Minecraft. They can include elements like trees, buildings, animals, or even a Minecraft village.
  3. Create a Minecraft comic strip: Let the student unleash their creativity by designing a comic strip featuring Minecraft characters. They can come up with a storyline and draw multiple panels to tell the story.
  4. Build a Minecraft diorama: Using paper, cardboard, or any other craft materials available, the student can create a three-dimensional Minecraft scene. They can include characters, blocks, and other elements to bring their creation to life.
