Materials and Prep
- A Minecraft-themed storybook
- Paper and crayons
- Printed pictures of Minecraft characters and settings
Activities
- Read a Minecraft-themed storybook together.
- Create a Minecraft character drawing.
- Match characters and settings.
Choose a storybook that features characters and settings from the Minecraft world. Read the story aloud, pausing to discuss the characters, settings, and events as you go.
Give the student paper and crayons. Ask them to choose their favorite Minecraft character from the story and draw a picture of it. Encourage them to include details and colors that match the character.
Print out pictures of various Minecraft characters and settings from the internet. Cut them out and mix them up. Spread them out on a table and ask the student to match each character with its corresponding setting from the story.
