Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to introduce yourself in Arabic, count from 1 to 10, and have a basic understanding of Arabic alphabets.

Materials and Prep

  • Pen and paper
  • Printed Arabic alphabet chart
  • Online resources for pronunciation (optional)

Activities

  • Activity 1: Introduce Yourself
    Write a short paragraph in Arabic introducing yourself. Include your name, age, and where you live. Practice reading it aloud.
  • Activity 2: Counting Game
    Play a counting game with a partner. Take turns counting from 1 to 10 in Arabic. If someone makes a mistake, they have to start over.
  • Activity 3: Arabic Alphabet Practice
    Use the printed Arabic alphabet chart to practice writing and pronouncing each letter. Start with the first few letters and gradually add more as you become comfortable.
