Activities

Read a Minecraft-themed book together.
Choose a Minecraft-themed book that matches the student's reading level. Read the book aloud or take turns reading with the student. Encourage them to ask questions and discuss the story as you go along.

Create a Minecraft story.
Ask the student to imagine a new adventure in the Minecraft world. Have them write or draw a story about their adventure, including characters, settings, and a problem that needs to be solved. Encourage creativity and use of descriptive language.

Play Minecraft and describe the experience.
Allow the student to play Minecraft for a short period of time. Afterward, ask them to describe their experience using descriptive language. What did they see, hear, or do in the game? Encourage them to use adjectives and adverbs to make their descriptions more interesting.
