Materials and Prep

- Blank paper or coloring sheets
- Optional: Dress-up clothes to pretend to be scientists
Before the lesson, familiarize yourself with the names and basic achievements of a few notable women scientists.
Activities
- Create a collage: Provide the student with magazines or printouts of pictures of women scientists. Help them cut out the pictures and glue them onto a piece of paper to create a collage.
- Coloring activity: Give the student coloring sheets featuring women scientists. Encourage them to use their favorite colors and be creative.
- Dress-up play: Provide dress-up clothes for the student to pretend to be a scientist. Encourage them to ask questions and explore the world around them.
- Flashcard game: Show the student flashcards with images of female scientists and ask them to name the person or imitate a scientist's action, such as pretending to mix chemicals or look through a microscope.
